YOUR HEALTH IN THEIR HANDS?

If you watched the youtube video at you will know that the EU is in the throes of implementing draconian regulatory measures in relation to food supplements (i.e. vitamins and minerals). This legislation (the EU Food Supplements Directive) is expected to provide the blueprint for global harmonisation of food supplements, which is currently being addressed by Codex Alimentarius.

• Do you object to the Irish government and the EU deciding that you should not be allowed to buy dosages of Vitamin C (and other nutrients) that have been readily available in Ireland and elsewhere for 40 years?



• Do you object to the fact that the EU is planning to remove meaningful levels of food supplements from open sale, while continuing to allow the open sale of alcohol, cigarettes and many drugs?



• Do you object to the EU undermining your freedom of choice?

If so, we urge you to tell TDs and MEPs that you have had enough of senseless EU regulation and that you resent the fact that the Irish government is endorsing a Nanny State approach to the regulation of food supplements.
